Denomination of origin Penedes: Rovellats is situated in the heart of the High Penedes. Its production derives exclusively from its 210 Ha. of vineyards adjoining the estate, with the Xarel.lo, Macabeo, Parellada and Chardonnay grape varieties. Vintage: 2000 Bottling Date: April 2000 Vinification: In the production of the wine, only separately-fermented must from the different varieties was used, with a strict temperature control (15 oC) throughout the process. Coupage: This was carefully studied. The three traditional varieties offer their greatest flavour potential, together with the aromatic touch of the Chardonnay grape, producing a wealth of flavours and aromas. The combination produces a white wine with body, well-rounded, with fresh aromas of tropical fruits harmonising with butter and nut flavours. Limited production. Type of bottle: Lower Rhine. Alcoholic strength: 12% volume. Total acidity in tartaric: 6,5. Residual sugars: 0,8 gm/l. Gastronomic suitabilities: As an aperitif, and to accompany light dishes and, naturally, fish and shellfish. How to serve: In a fine glass and at not too low a temperature, 6 to 8oC. It is recommended not to place the wine in the freezer. Storage: Store the bottles vetically, at a cool, stable temperature, away from odours and noises, It is not advisable to wait until the wine ages, but to consume it within 12 months. Awards:
